Lactic acid (AHA)
A natural and biocompatible chemical exfoliant for effective removal of epidermal dead skin cells, responsible for congestion. Also an effective hydrator.

Salicylic acid (BHA)
A beta hydroxy acid working on the upper-most layers and within pores as an exfoliant and anti-inflammatory. It is excellent for acne sufferers as it can draw out and remove dead cells and debris from congested skin follicles. It is also oil loving meaning it is attracted into the oil in the follicle to decongest.

Aloe vera
A powerful anti-inflammatory that helps calm acne lesions and skin irritation.

I formulated BAcne with a balanced blend of alpha and beta hydroxy acids to treat body acne and congestion on multiple levels. Lactic acid, the key AHA, helps remove dead surface cells and maintain natural moisture levels, while salicylic acid, the essential BHA, works deeper within the pores to remove trapped oil and cell debris, as well as reduce inflammation. It is also an excellent product to address ingrown hairs following waxing.
