Betonite clay
A volcanic mineral clay capable of deeply cleaning facial pores and reducing the appearance of blemishes. The constriction of pores aids in forcing impurities and toxins out of the skin, while also serving as a purifying agent. When bentonie is activated with water it becomes a highly porous sponge, drawing impurities from the skin. It also reduces skin irriration and becomes charged in water, making it capable of binding heavy metal toxins from the skin surface.

Blackcurrant seed oil
A highly effective active designed to soothe appearance of redness, revitalise skin showing visible signs of ageing, and protects the skin barrier from environmental aggression.

Niacinamide
supports the appearance of resilient-looking skin and increases the production of the skin's natural ceramides in the stratum corneum, which protects the skin from moisture loss (TEWL). Niacinamide helps support a more balanced-looking complexion and minimising the look of irritation. It supports skin hydration and helps reduce the appearance of pigmentation (and lingering visible discolouration associated with blemishes) by helping reduce the appearance of melanin transfer from the melanocyte to the keratinocyte. It also stiumlates collagen production, which can support with the would soothing of inflamed blemishes.

Beta glucan
Purified from oats, a long-lasting, film-forming, anti-irritant ingredient that accelerates soothing. It also supports the appearance of firmer skin, reduces scarring and enhances the penetration of active ingredients.

There are two earth mineral clays in this formula that work synergistically to give the skin an effective purge and manage the appearance of blemishes. The first is bentonite clay, which when activated with water it becomes a highly porous sponge, drawing impurities from deep within the skin. The second mineral is kaolin clay, which absorbs excess oil and reduces excess shine, while calming the look of redness and irritation.
