Castor seed oil
A vegetable-based oil containing 90% ricinoleic acid, an unusual fatty acid that inhibits the growth of many viruses, bacteria, yeasts, and moulds. For this reason, castor seed oil is recommended as an antimicrobial for acneic skin, ringworm, keratoses, warts, scars, and fungal infections. Castor seed oil reduces inflammation and increases skin immunity.

Squalane
Promotes barrier repair, exhibits superior moisturisation and emollience, and enhances the penetration of active ingredients. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and dry skin and helps to address the symptoms of eczema and dermatitis. Squalane has a light readily absorbing texture and is beneficial for all skin types including acne-prone skin.

Bisabolol
A plant-derived ingredient from chamomile. A powerful anti-inflammatory that will help soothe and calm irritated skin.

A note from Terri

Plus Icon Minus Icon

Following an ablative/semi-ablative clinical treatment, it’s essential to treat your skin with a protective occlusive to support optimum recovery and accelerate healing. As part of my Clean Science philosophy, I formulated OccluSiderm as a natural alternative to over-the-counter petroleum occlusives to protect and repair a compromised barrier.
