Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (Vitamin C): Provides potent antioxidant protection to scavenge ageing and damaging free radicals whilst boosting collagen production in the deeper layers of our lips for a firmer, more youthful look. It also reduces inflammation created by environmental UV stress and pollutants.

Titanium dioxide: Provides broad-spectrum chemical-free solar protection from ageing and damagin UV and infrered rays.

Iron oxides: Offers additional solar protection while protecting against visible blue light.

Shea better and jojoba seed oils: Nuturing natural emollients to lock-in moisture and hydrate the lips.

Stevia: Provides a natural botanical flavour as well as collagen stimulation.

All makeup needs to be treated as an extension of good skincare and Synergie Minerals lipsticks are no different. With this new formula, I’ve included tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, which is a new oil-soluble and highly stable form of vitamin C. This cosmeceutical provides protection from environmental free radical damage as well as significant collagen stimulation to the vulnerable lip area. Clinical studies further show the absorption of this oil-soluble form of vitamin C is superior to the water-soluble derivatives. From a cosmetic chemist’s perspective, an oil-soluble form of vitamin C is essential for lip products as all lip balms and lipsticks are lipid (oil) based.
