What is SynSociety?

SynSociety is our loyalty program that rewards our customers for shopping and connecting with Synergie Skin and SynTernals. Rewards include exclusive coupons you can redeem at checkout, as a thank you for your loyalty to our Clean Science philosophy.

Can I join SynSociety?
Currently, SynSociety is available to all customers of which we currently ship to.


How does SynSociety work?

As a registered SynSociety member, each time you shop and connect with Synergie Skin or SynTernals you’ll earn points which will build up in your SynSociety account over time. Once you hit a certain level of points, you will receive reward coupons as a thank you for supporting Synergie Skin / SynTernals. You can opt to use these rewards at any time at checkout.

You can earn points for every dollar spent on our site (excluding for the purchase of eGift Cards), and for completing various actions, such as creating an account, sharing your birthday with us, and signing up to our newsletter. See the ‘Ways To Earn’ section above to learn more.


What are the SynSociety tiers?

There are 3 Tiers in which you can find yourself as a SynSociety member. Every purchase or connection you make with Synergie Skin or SynTernals contributes to how many points you earn and in turn, determines your SynSociety Tier.

  • Tier 1: Seekers who are just starting out on your external or internal wellness journey.
  • Tier 2: Savvy with an understanding of what our Clean Science philosophy embodies.
  • Tier 3: Sophisticate who is a Synergie Skin or SynTernals devotee completely dedicated to skin health and wellness.

When do I move up a tier?

Tiers are determined by how much you spend. You’ll move up to the next tier when you hit the required spend amount for each tier. Spend requirements as follows:

  • Seekers: $0 - $749.99
  • Savvy: $750 - $1,499.99
  • Sophisticate: $1,500+

How do I know what tier I am in?
Once you’re logged in, head to the Rewards page and you'll see your current tier highlighted in the “VIP’s Earn More” section.

Can I ever lose my tier status?
SynSociety tiers are based on a rolling 12-month period starting from when you reach the next tier. This means that you have 365 days to keep your Savvy or Sophisticate status by spending the amount that will keep you there (per the ‘VIP’s Earn More’ table above), otherwise you will be downgraded to the tier you are eligible for based on your spend during that 365 day period.

This period starts over again from the date you happen to then upgrade yourself or are automatically downgraded due to the above-mentioned reason. You can never lose your Seeker status as it is SynSociety’s lowest tier.


How do I sign up to SynSociety?

Registering is free and easy via the ‘JOIN NOW / SIGN IN’ section on the following page: https://synergieskin.com/pages/rewards. Please note, the email address you choose when creating your account is used as your membership ID and will not be able to be changed after doing so.

Do I need to join SynSociety if I am already a customer? Is my previous spend included prior to joining?
All Synergie Skin or SynTernals customers who have a registered website account automatically become a SynSociety member.

If you have chosen checkout as a Guest, you are still able to earn points on your purchases and actions, but it’s not until you sign up to join SynSociety that you will be able to turn them into rewards that you can redeem.

Will I receive emails from Synergie Skin or SynTernals if I am SynSociety member?
Yes, you’ll receive correspondence from us at various stages throughout your membership even if you are not subscribed to the Synergie Skin or SynTernals mailing lists. Rest assured, we will only send you emails that are necessary and relevant to your circumstance within the SynSociety loyalty program.


How can I keep track of the points I’ve earned?

You will be able to view your latest point balance at the top of the page when you log in to your rewards account. You’ll also be able to view your rewards history, by clicking “REWARDS HISTORY” just below your points balance.

How long does it take for my points to update after I make a purchase?
The points you earn will be approved for use in your SynSociety account once your order has been fulfilled.

Can I earn points on eGift Card purchases?
You are able to earn points on every product purchased on our site, except for eGift Cards. However, as the receiver of an eGift Card you will be able to earn points for using it partially or completely in a transaction, as the eGift Card acts as another form of money for the receiver of the card.

Can the points I’ve earned expire?
The points of each purchase will expire after 12 months.

I forgot to log in and I checked out as a Guest. Have I lost my points?
If you are an existing SynSociety member but checked out as a Guest using the same email address at checkout that you used to create your account, you can rest assured that you have not lost the points you earned on those purchases. This is because the email address you chose when creating your account is used as your membership ID. Please note, the email address used to create your account will not be able to be changed after doing so.

However, if you are a member and checked out as a Guest using a different email address than the one you used to create your account, your points will not be added to your SynSociety account and will instead be associated with the different email address. For this reason, we recommend signing into your account every time you visit our store.

What happens to my points if I receive a refund?
If a past transaction is successfully refunded, either partially or in full, you will lose the points you had previously earned on the refunded products, and this will reflect accordingly in the 'Rewards’ sections in due course.


What is a referral?

SynSociety referrals encourage our valued customers to make word-of-mouth referrals in exchange for a reward coupon. The referral begins when you share your unique link with a friend. You'll find your unique link under "Refer a Friend" at the bottom of the rewards page when logged in to your rewards account. Friends who click the link will be directed to our website where they can make their first purchase. As a Synergie Skin or SynTernals advocate, you will then be rewarded for every successful referral with 400 points!

What is considered a successful referral?
A referral is only considered successful if it meets the following requirements:

  1. The referred friend completes a purchase for the minimum spend of $40 AUD (price after discount) in one transaction.
  2. It must be the friend's first purchase on synergieskin.com.
  3. The referred friend must click the referral link and then make a purchase in the same website visit.
  4. The referred friend’s IP address and user profile that clicks on the referral link matches the IP address and user profile that completes the purchase.

Do I have to be a SynSociety member to send referrals?
Referring customers will be able to earn rewards on successful referrals even if they are not SynSociety members, and existing members will be able to send referrals even if they are not logged into their account. However, we encourage all referring customers to create a SynSociety account and log into it with every visit to our store so that any referrals sent and rewards earned are automatically attributed to the same email address that was used to create your account. This keeps your points history and referral history linked.

What if I already follow you on Instagram or Facebook?
If this is the case, then we thank you. In order to now receive the points for either or both of these actions, we ask that you simply navigate to the "Ways to Earn" section in your rewards account and click "Follow Us" on the Instagram reward tile and “Share On Facebook” on the Facebook rewards tile. This will confirm the action and ensure it reflects in your account as points earned. For security reasons we are unable to carry this step out for you.

What if I am already subscribed to your newsletter?
If you are not yet a member but are subscribed to our mailing list, simply create an account using that same email address and your 50 points for subscribing will be waiting for you in the My Account section of the site.

For members who would like to subscribe to our newsletter, please do so using the same address as your SynSociety account email, otherwise your points will be split across the email address used to create your account and the different one used to subscribe. If this is the case for you, we invite you to simply resubscribe using your account email address, and then unsubscribe from your other email address to avoid receiving our newsletter twice.


When can I exchange my points for rewards?

The more you do and spend, the more you earn, and the more you earn, the more you’re rewarded.

  • When you reach 400 points, you will receive $10 off
  • When you reach 800 points, you will receive $20 off
  • When you reach 1,200 points, you will receive $30 off

*The above rewards will be redeemable in the dropdown at checkout.

How can I exchange my points for rewards?
When you qualify for a reward, you’ll be able to select the dropdown at checkout and will be able to select the reward that’s available to use. Please make sure you’re logged in to be able to see this option.

When will I receive my Annual Birthday Reward?
You will receive your Annual Birthday Reward via email on your actual birthday, except in cases where the birth date is within 30 days of when it was first entered. In such cases, we will give you the reward in a delay of 30 days from the date of entry. Please note that once you enter your birthday, you will not be able to change it. We look forward to helping you celebrate your special day.

What is Bonus Point Events Access?
As a member, you will have access to exclusive product promotions. These will take place throughout the year for a specific product or category of products, and when you purchase such a product during the event, you will receive a bonus point/points for each dollar spent on it.

What is a Tier Entry Reward Coupon?
As an added benefit, you will receive a congratulatory reward for advancing to either Savvy or Sophisticate status. Please allow at least 30 minutes between orders for your tier status to upgrade and for your reward to be activated.

What currency are SynSociety reward coupons available in?
At this stage, all rewards coupons are available in AUD only.


How can I receive points for product reviews?

Simply leave a review for any product on our website to receive 100 points. Please include your rating, your feedback, your name, and your email address. To receive this reward you must use the email address linked to your SynSociety account. 1 review per month will be eligible for points.


I can't access my account, how do I sign in?

To sign in on desktop, click the person icon in the top right hand corner of the main menu. Sign in with your email address and password.

To sign in on mobile, click the main menu, scroll down and click “sign in”. Sign in with your email address and password.

I forgot my password, how do I reset it?
On the account sign in page, click “Forgot your password?”, enter your email and we’ll send you an email with a link to update your password.
