In December 2018, I embarked on a journey to Necker Island with Business Chicks. It was so much more than an exciting Caribbean getaway – it was transformational.
There were so many times when I had to have a reality check. I was in paradise and I was a guest in Richard Branson’s home! Aside from meeting my entrepreneurial hero and the idyllic location, I formed some inseverable bonds with some truly inspiring women.
One of these women was Alex Tempany, a fellow Melbourne-based entrepreneur. We connected over the week through raw conversations, laughs, tears and numerous cocktails and I am proud to now call Alex my friend. Alex is a passionate and talented Aussie jewellery designer with a beautiful soul. She recently started her own line of handmade jewellery. Alex Tempany Jewelry is for women who stand strong, smile big and forge their own paths.
Together, we’ve had the privilege of giving back to the local Necker community. Alongside Business Chicks, we have committed to building a shelter that provides a place of refuge for survivors of domestic violence in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) region.
Following our trip to Necker, she designed an exclusive range called The Pineapples to raise funds for the BVI shelter. Alex is donating $50 from every piece sold within the range to contribute to the build of this shelter. My fave are The Pineapple Earrings, carrying her signature aesthetic of beaten and textured metal. In Alex’s words:
The Pineapples is a range of jewellery which is bold in design and bold in purpose.
In my support of Alex’s business and vision, I would like to offer you the opportunity to own a stunning and meaningful piece of Alex’s handcrafted jewellery from this range using a special Synergie community discount. Like Synergie’s products, her pieces will make you look and feel amazing! With every The Pineapples range purchase, you will be supporting Australian-made and contributing to the build of a shelter for women who desperately need our help.
